Sand dollar fossil ring | Electroformed fossil jewelry

A small fossilized sand dollar from the Jurassic Era has been electroformed to a 12 gauge hand-hammered copper ring. Each fossil is anywhere from 145-200 million years old!

All copper used in this ring has been recycled and reformed into a wearable work of art.

If you don't see the size you need, or if you want me to keep your special requests in mind please select "custom" and I will happily make your dream ring!

Every stone is as unique as the person it will adorn. Please allow for differences in color, shape and size.

Each piece is handcrafted in my tiny island studio on Martha's Vineyard. It comes ready for gift giving in hand-stamped, earth conscious packaging.

The sand dollar is designed to survive storms. It imparts the wisdom of knowing when it will be most useful to go with the flow and release any personal resistance, even in the midst of great turbulence. It teaches the power of vulnerability and promotes trust and flexibility. Disperses old paradigms and ways of being and encourages fresh examinations of our belief structures and the stories we tell ourselves about the world, helping us to recognize which stories are true and which are not.

While we at HAWKHOUSE believe in the vast metaphysical properties of stones and also the power of intention, we cannot legally guarantee that wearing a certain stone will cure, help or solve anything.
