Our rings are untreated and unsealed to further the positive effects that copper can have on the body! The copper brightens with each wear thanks to the body's natural oils.
Copper reacts differently to every body's chemistry. If you find that wearing our rings turn you green, it is a sign that you have an acidic pH. Science suggests the following ways to combat a high acidic pH: increase water intake (extra points with squeezed lemon!), increase dark fruit and veggie intake, and decrease processed starches and sugars.
Any greening washes off easily with soap and water. You can seal the rings with jewelers wax/lacquer or even clear nail polish if you wish.

After purchase we can photograph options of pieces for you. For many reasons, we do not photograph stones before they are set.
Photo options may take around a week, as we only have some pieces in stock.
We want to make sure you love your piece and we will happily work with you in order to do so!
Short answer, no.
Long answer, still no, but here's why: Electroforming is a multi-step process by which copper is grown around the stone in a 6-12 hour chemical bath. This creates the setting. By removing the stone from the setting (i.e. breaking a ring) and attempting to reset it, we not only have to completely remake the ring, but also risk damaging the stone.
We happily work out exchanges for a different ring instead, as the ring that doesn't fit you would fit someone else!
If we accept custom sizing on a listing, the last option in the size dropdown menu within the product listing will say "Custom". Select this option and leave a note at checkout as to what size you need!
There are some short runs of items, those in silver and rare stones and styles, that we only have the sizes listed available. There will not be a "Custom" option on these listings. Follow us on Instagram or Facebook to get first dibs when we make a limited run like these.
It may take up to two weeks to hand craft and ship your piece if we don't have your piece in stock.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: We are not responsible for customs fees. These fees are determined by YOUR home country at the time of the arrival of your package and are impossible to predict. We are required by law to accurately describe all contents of your order on the shipping label, so please be aware of the fact that you may incur further fees to claim your order.

I could never recommend wearing any jewelry in water. That being said, if it's freshwater, and once, it's probably ok. The more important thing is that you don't expose your jewelry to detergents, chemicals, cleaners or saltwater, as these things will assuredly diminish the life of your jewelry.
Don't worry! We have a very forgiving repair/replacement policy. If something does happen to your HAWKHOUSE jewelry, just let us know. If it's within two months of purchase, we will replace it for free. If its been longer than that, we charge a flat $15 (which includes return shipping!)
